Working independently and for Education Agencies as a qualified and registered level 4, 1:1 Specialist Study Skills Tutor (SpLD) and Specialist Mentor (ASC) with university students who qualify for Disabled Students Allowance (DSA). Helping to teach students study skills and use their strengths to reduce the impact of their difficulties such as: dyslexia, ADHD, autism and mental health, by giving them the strategies to achieve at the same level as their peers. This individually tailored support may include strategies for aiding: memory recall, organisation and time management, research skills, referencing and all aspects of essay writing up to PhD level.

  • Level 5 Diploma in teaching Mathematics (Numeracy) in the Lifelong Learning Sector

  • Supporting students with Autism Spectrum Conditions 

  • Mental Health Impacts; challenges and insights for male mental health at universities 

  • Experience working with disabled people and people with Specific Learning Differences, mental health or with hearing and visual impairments on a 1:1 basis 

  • Speech and Language Support qualified for post 16's
